1 Replies and 660 Views Mission To The Sun? 660 1 Started by Anonymous Would N.A.S.A. be able to go to the sun I am very interested in wether or not N.A.S.A. would be able to land on the sun. I am pretty sure the answer is no. The escape velocity of the sun 2 million kilometers per hour, so they might be able to land, but not take off. Also, the sun is hot. Really hot. It would melt the ship that took them there. Is there any hope ~Daniel C., Fairfield, Connecticut.

1 Replies and 712 Views Rainbow at Night 712 1 Started by Anonymous Okay.......A couple of weeks ago...I was taking the trash out and it was a full moon. Around the full moon was a circle and it was a circle of a rainbow. Is that normal My astronomy teacher said that it was a rare phenomon and how lucky I was to see it. But I don't fully understand how it is even possible for there to be a rainbow at night. Could you pleae explain this to me Thank you from Tina, NC.
