Unless one of the Solar Week scientists has a secret identity, I don't think any of us are astronauts and none of us has ever been to the Moon. Most scientists do their work in offices, laboratories, or observatories right here on the Earth. We don't need to be astronauts in order to study the Sun, the Earth's magnetosphere and the aurora, or the other planets in the solar system. We can send unmanned spacecraft to these places to make observations. I'm not an astronaut, but I did go to Space Camp when I was in high school. At Space Camp, they had a funny harness on springs that we could use to simulate what it was like to walk on the Moon. I remember it being kind of weird and having to sort of bounce up then down to the side to pick up something on the ground without falling over. I think you are also asking whether or not astronauts can get sick in space. The answer is yes, they can. Being weightless while in orbit can do funny things to a person's sense of balance and make them feel nauseous. Astronauts train for being weightless on a special airplane called the Vomit Comet. I think that name is self-explanatory. Kris
