When a neutron star shrinks into a black hole what happens when anything enters in the center?

    Hi Wesley,

When a very massive star collapses into a black hole at the end of its life, the center of that black hole contains so much mass that space and time become extremely distorted there. In fact space and time become so stretched that they are infinite, so any thing that enters toward the "singularity" will essentially get torn apart, atom by atom. Nothing can survive falling into the center of a black hole..... they are very strange areas in the Universe!
