    Dear Monica,

I generally likes schooling, but I have to say that I liked learning about astronomy at the observatory! There is nothing like learning in the context of where the learning is taking shape, where the research is being done. That is why I always recommend that young students try to find 'internships' where you can study about a subject you are interested in within the environment where research is being carried out. My least favorite part of schooling is sitting in class listening to the teacher, I liked doing the labs, where I could work with my fellow classmates on projects.

    Best wishes,

    Isabel Hawkins
