    Hi Tristin,

I like art and actually took some courses in art history when I was in college. The art history courses were a lot of fun because we spent our class time watching slideshows of famous paintings, sculptures, and buildings. We also periodically went to museums to look at the paintings and sculptures for our homework assignments. I took a course on Rennaissance art and a few courses on ancient art. Last year, I took a vacation in Italy. It was really exciting to see some of the things I learned about in the art history courses I took in school, like the Sistine Chapel and the Roman ruins at Pompei.

I don't draw a lot, but I have been learning how to make stained glass windows and mosaics. One of the really neat things I saw on my trip to Italy were the mosaics on the floors of ancient Roman buildings.

NASA actually employs artists to help with image processing and graphics. If you follow the link below, you can see a presentation by Steele Hill called the "Sun as Art."
