    Hi There, Answering your question about solar storms on the sun. The (SUN) is in fact the source of a "solar storm". Energetic events such as solar flares, or coronal mass ejections are such violent, explosive actions. When they hurl particles away from the sun into space toward's Earth or other planets, that's where in part it gets its name "solar storm"! And we get auroras, and disruptions in electric producing systems, and radio as a result. Thanks for visiting Solar Week!
