Have any of the sceintists been deep sea fishing? I heard there's a fish called an "ocean sunfish"?

I have never been deep sea fishing, but in the Monterey Bay Aquarium in California, and also in the Aquarium in Maui (Hawai'i) I have seen a sunfish. It is a pretty weird looking kind of fish - large and flat, without much of a tail. (I went to the aquariums when I was at scientific conferences at these places - another good thing about being a scientist! You get to go to all kinds of cool places)
