Do the Sun Spots on the Sun reflect the same spots on the Earth? Do they make shadows where they are on the sun? Or do they leave perminate spots on Earth?

    Hi Chloe,

Sunspots are regions of very strong magnetic field on the Sun and appear dark because such strong magnetic fields don't allow as much light to escape. So they aren't really shadows like we see here on Earth, and they are only a solar phenomenon so there is nothing here on Earth that has to do with them.
