    Hi Cassandra,

When I was a kid I went horseback riding at Girl Scout Camp and on school field trips. I thought it was fun, but I never took lessons or had my own horse. I did like reading stories about horses and horse racing, though. Some of my favorite books were "The Black Stallion" series and the books by Marguerite Henry about "Misty of Chincoteague." I visited Assateague Island a few years ago to see the wild horses there. It is quite a beautiful place.
