    Hello,

    No, you cannot put out the Sun with water. The Sun is not burning like a campfire. The light and heat from the Sun actually come from nuclear reactions that fuse atoms of hydrogen into helium deep inside the Sun's core. The Sun's core has a temperature of millions of degrees. In contrast, a campfire can typically reach temperatures of about 1000 degrees Fahrenheit.
