My typical weekend off days consist of dance classes for me and then spending time with my daughter and husband. This past weekend I took my daughter to see Frozen on Ice.

I spend a lot of my free time playing music (I'm a bagpiper) and making things. I've recently taken up woodwork but I love any kind of hobby that involves creating something. I also like to hang out with my friends, eat good food and biking.

    Hello Anonymous!

I like to do lots of different things when I have time off. Over the weekend, a friend hosted a gaming marathon to raise money for a charity. It was sort of like when people have dance marathons, only they played board games for 24 hours. I played a giant game of Roborally with all of the various expansions plus a few homemade boards to make it super challenging. I also like to read and belong to two book groups. This month one of the book groups is reading The Wizard of Oz and we plan to watch the movie together.

Hike, yoga, bike, and especially garden/cook (oh, and, um, eat.... :-)

But mostly, with two teenagers, any non-working time is schlepping kids around or making sure they've done their homework. And occasionally we all watch classic sitcoms on DVD (we're on a Cosby kick right now....)
