Hi, I don't think it is impossible at all. It will certainly take a lot of work, but that is true whether you are a girl from Sri Lanka or a boy from California. Basically you want to go to college and major in physics or engineering or astronomy or math and then go to graduate school and get a PhD. You don't have to do these things in the US (although getting your PhD in the US might make things a little easier). 'Working for NASA' means a bunch of different things, but lots of people are working at NASA centers (even if they aren't directly employed as a US civil servant), doing great science that have come from many different places in the world. -Christina
