    Hello,

I was wondering if there is any footage of objects hitting the sun?

    Thank you.

Yes, sort of. The coronagrah on SOHO has movies of comets disappearing as they orbit the Sun, we suspect that they went into the solar atmosphere where they vaporized. A coronagraph is a type of solar telescope that has a central disk that covers the bright part of the Sun so that the solar corona can be seen.
Here is a link to a story about kamikaze comets.

Here is a link to SOHO's movie page, scroll down to see comets.

Yep! Along with SOHO, the Solar Dynamics Observatory's Atmospheric Imaging Assembly has also caught a few comets as well. This comet totally disintegrated! https://sdo.gsfc.nasa.gov/gallery/main/item/84
