    I have always been fascinated with Mars, possibly partly because I read H.G. Wells novel, "War of the Worlds". But the most beautiful planet to view with a telescope (other than Earth) is Saturn.

    Hi Cassie! It's very hard to pick a favorite planet, when they all are so interesting! I agree with Mitzi that Saturn is a very beautiful planet to view with a telescope. Jupiter is also fun to view with a telescope because you can see the larger moons of Jupiter orbiting around the planet.
