Hi Erin, There will be a solar eclipse on November 3 that will be visible from the East Coast just after sunrise, for about 20-30 minutes. It will be a partial eclipse, not total.

This website gives some information about this eclipse: http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa....13.html#SE2013Nov03H

And this one lets you enter your location to find out when the eclipse will be visible: http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/JSEX/JSEX-NA.html

When looking at a solar eclipse, it's important to remember not to look right at the Sun. You can use special filters and equipment, some of which you can even make at home, to view the eclipse safely. Here's a link that will tell you how to do this: http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/SEhelp/safety.html

I'm on the West Coast, so I won't be able to see this one. Enjoy it for me!
