    Hi,

    The Sun _is_ a star, so if you are talking about a star the size of the Sun, the answer would be just one. Stars come in a range of sizes, though - some smaller than the Sun and others a lot larger.

    The planets are all a lot smaller than the Sun, though. You could fit a million Earths (1,000,000) inside the Sun.
