I have ridden a horse a couple of times and rather enjoyed it, but unfortunately, I didn't take advantage of the opportunity to really learn to ride when I was young. My cousins boarded horses and my cousin Elaine was an expert rider, she and her father could have taught me a lot. But I was afraid to give up control to the horse and so never rode when I was young. I loved the horsses though and was never afraid to help take them back to the barn and help groom them.
