How many solar related "ancient" observatory sites have been studied around the world, and have any you visited them?

I have been to the solar observatory in Chichen Itza in Mexico, and saw the "snake" that appears to climb up the pyramid at the equinox. There is another spring equinox alignment in Dzibilchaltun near Merida that I have been to. There are also solar alignments at Uxmal but I haven't been there. I have also been to Stonehenge in the UK. Chaco Canyon in the US also has a solar alignment but it is not easy to get there and has been harmed by tourists, so I'm told.
