I was reading some of the blogs and one of the questains was "will the sun ever die out?" and my questain is adding on to that and i want to know, for the people who do live during the time when the sun "dies" will the earth no longer be "alive" because the sun isn't giving any energy or light source for the earth?

Generally speaking, when the sun burns out, the earth will stop functioning

as it currently does. It's a long time in the future, so by then, it is likely that

humans will use space technology to live on the planet using alternative power

systems for heat and electricity and so forth.
