I know there have been many studies to see if there is life on the moon but do you think sometime in the future humans will actually be able to live on the moon?

I think we could set up a moon base. NASA is looking into how to do that now.
The base would have to be protected from radiation and be airtight, of course.

I don't think we will every be able to just walk around on the surface and live on it the way we do Earth though, or at least that would involve some truly science fictional style advances in technology!

I heard that if the moon was to suddenly vanish many drastic changes would happen to our planet such as changing its spin and no more tides. Would there be any benefits in not having a moon? (bsides no werewolfs :)
