We may not crash into the sun, but when it becomes a red giant, it will ingulf us. (By then the human race would be dead)

    Hello,

Yes, in 5 billion years the Sun will turn into a red giant and engulf the Earth, but we need to be much more worried about what is happening on Earth right now, global warming, pollution, deforestation, globalization, etc. that is having severe consequences over a much smaller timescale, tens and hundreds of years, not billions. So, we all need to do our part to protect the Earth from human society, such as working on environmental issues.
