    Hi Michael,

    The flares and coronal mass ejections involved with solar storms will also occur on other stars because they are driven by magnetic fields (other stars also have magnetic fields). The storms occuring on other stars may have different properties than the solar storms. For example, they may be more energetic or travel at higher speeds.
