Do any of you use solar energy at home, and how much do you save?

    Hi Marcus,

I have a 5.92kW solar panel array on my house that I installed a little over a year ago. During this last year it has provided 100% of my household electrical needs. By my latest calculations it will pay for itself in savings in about four and a half years. With a projected service lifetime of over 25 years it will literally save me tens of thousands of dollars over it's lifetime.
