When was the last solar eclipse you watched, and were you there to actually see it?

    Hi Victor,

The last eclipse I experienced was in 2001. I was in Africa in the city Lusaka, Zambia. We had perfect skies for the eclipse and beautiful, dark night skies as well. To see some pictures from our trip, go to this webpage: https://magnetograph.msfc...girlscouts/trip.html

    Hi Victor,
The only total solar eclipse I have seen myself was in 1998. I was in Curacao in the Caribbean. The eclipse was truly beautiful. Here is a nice image of that eclipse:

but even that does not do it justice. I have seem a number of partial solar eclipses, from here in Maryland, where I live, and other places.

Hi Victor! I haven't seen a total solar eclipse in person, but I have seen several partial solar eclipses. The last partial solar eclipse that I watched in person was in May 2012.
