    Hi.
    Yes, there are wave that are basically sound waves in the Sun, so if you were on the Sun and had the right kind of ears (that would not vaporize, among other things!) you could hear them.

    We can detect them from far away, to, but we do it by observing their effects on the light the sun emits, rather than hearing the sound waves directly - the space between Earth and the Sun is almost a vacuum, so the sound waves don't move through it. Studying these waves from a distance is a way we can understand what is happening inside the sun itself. For more on this see:
