Do you believe this comet will reach a fairly bright naked-eye event next month?

I don't know, but I sure hope so!

Nobody knows for sure how bright this comet will get. The last I heard, from browsing the astronomy blogs, is that it is not going to be a brilliant event as bright as the moon. But it still could be quite bright (perhaps as bright as Venus)! You'll be able to see the comet best close to dawn since it will be very close to the Sun.
