Radni E Does the amount of storm activity ont he Sun vary like closer to the sun's equator, or the poles?

Hi Radni, The location of sunspot regions, which produce all major solar flares and a lot of the coronal mass ejections, changes over the solar cycle. Sunspots form in bands on either side of the equator.
