    Hi Sydney,

I used to draw a lot when I was a girl, but I don't draw much anymore. However, I do enjoy other artistic activities, like making stained glass things. Also, it helps to be a little bit artistic when putting together posters for conferences. Sometimes, I have had to draw a "cartoon" type figure on the computer for a paper or conference poster to illustrate a physical concept.

Writing is a big part of what scientists do, since we need to publish articles about our results in scientific journals. I haven't really written any fiction as a hobby, but one of my co-workers belongs to a local filmmaking group and likes to write scripts for short films. I have helped out with a couple of their projects, so maybe someday I will write my own script.
