That is a good question, and the answer is yes, the Sun will grow larger as it ages. As our Sun exhausts its supply of hydrogen for nuclear fusion reactions, it will eventually evolve into a red giant star as other types of nuclear reactions take over. When this happens, the Sun will expand to envelope the Earth. Fortunately for us, this will not happen for a very, very, very, very long time!
