Do any of you scientists like to paint, and if so, have any of your ever done paintings of the sun?

    Hi Chris,

I don't paint, but I used to draw a lot. When I was in high school, our teachers made us cover all of our textbooks to help keep them neat. I usually used brown paper grocery bags to make slip covers for my books. Brown paper bags are pretty boring, so I would use colored pens and pencils to decorate them. I remember drawing cartoon astronauts, rocket ships, planets, and aliens all over my Calculus book cover. There probably was a Sun someplace on my book cover too!

I have a molded glass Sun face that I've been wanting to use in a stained glass suncatcher to hang in my window. I've got lots of stained glass projects that I would like to do, but I just haven't had time lately!

    Kris
