I also think the song doesn’t refer to any specific star. Interesting question is also why do we see stars twinkling? Light from the star travels through many layers of different density in the Earth’s atmosphere before reaching the observer on the ground. The light bends in random directions when it passes these layers and this distortion results in twinkling. If you would get a chance to observe stars from space (or from a planet without atmosphere) they would not twinkle!
