    Kelly (LM) Has any studies been done on the pacific easter island stone sculptures for any connection to the sun or astronomy? thank you.

    Hi Kelly,

    Although tnearly all of the Moai on Rapa Nui (Easter Island) are on the beaches and face inwards, seven moai at the site known as Ahu Akivi ace the point at which the sun sets during the equinox.
