How come some of the solar cells are different colors, like blue or black? Does this make a difference? thanks...
Hi Sierra, Solar cells are as dark as possible to maximize how much light they absorb. The blue color is particularly useful because it is very good at absorbing green light which is the color at which light from the Sun is at a maximum.
