That is an interesting question. I went to see a total solar eclipse
once. I don't remember a big change, but, then I was distracted
by the beauty of the eclipse!
Also, I think the changes are pretty slow.
There are some reports on the web from people measuring temperatures
during a total solar eclipse. A quick, not very careful look over
those suggests they seem to be finding differences of 4 -
15 degrees Fahrenheit from what they would have been expects.
This is all in the path of totality of the eclipse, which is only a
very small area on the Earth.
