    That is an interesting question. I went to see a total solar eclipse once. I don't remember a big change, but, then I was distracted by the beauty of the eclipse!
    Also, I think the changes are pretty slow.

    There are some reports on the web from people measuring temperatures during a total solar eclipse. A quick, not very careful look over those suggests they seem to be finding differences of 4 - 15 degrees Fahrenheit from what they would have been expects. This is all in the path of totality of the eclipse, which is only a very small area on the Earth.

    In the annular eclipse in Houston May 1994, the temperature fell ten degrees! (Generally the hotter the day, and the closer to noon, the bigger the temperature drop).
