    Hi Caitlyn,
I wouldn't say that I have a favorite planet (although I am quite partial towards the Earth!).
Jupiter is a pretty interesting planet, though. Jupiter is one of the planets that has been known since antiquity. It has fascinating and lovely cloud belts.
It also has many moons. The largest of these are the four Galilean satellites, Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto. They are called the Galilean satellites because they were discovered by Galileo Galilei who also observed the sun and sunspots. His solar observations are closer to what I do.

The picture on the right is taken by on of the Voyager spacecraft and shows Io and Europa in the foreground and giant Jupiter in the back. I got it from

    Cheers,
    Terry
