    In which wavelengths does the sun radiate the most energy?

    Hi Glenn.
    Most of the sun's light is given off in visible wavelengths of light. The peak is roughly 500 nm (nano meters) this is about .00005 cm. (Different places I've looked give slightly different answers, but this is about right). This is in the green range, but because the sun gives off light over a broad range of colors it actually appears white.
