Hi Jayden, the Sun provides warmth for all of the planets, moons, asteroids, comets, and everything else that is in our solar system. Anything that can see the light from our Sun gets warmth from it, even outside of the solar system, but the amount of heat is much less as you get farther from the Sun. We have 8 planets in our solar system, and the Sun warms all of them!

You can feel the heat from the Sun if you go outside on a sunny day. The amount of energy (heat) that the Sun gives you depends on how far away you are from it. If the Earth were twice as far away from the Sun, it would only get a quarter of the energy it gets now. And, if the Earth were half as far away from the Sun as it is now, it would get four times as much energy. It is the same with almost every heat source, like a campfire. If you are close to the fire it feels very hot, but when you take just two big steps away, it is muuuch less warm.
