I don't know exact latitudes, but I have heard that on very rare occasions during extreme geomagnetic storms, aurora have been seen as far south as Texas. When aurora are seen at very low latitudes like this, they are usually a bit different from the aurora seen at higher latitudes during normal conditions. Instead of the usual ribbons of green light seen at high latitudes, these low-latitude auroral are often just a diffuse red glow.
