    My name is Bryce and I am an eigth grade student. I would like to know how far south the Aurora has been spotted in the hitsory of mankind.

    Hi Bryce!

    The more intense the magnetospheric storm is, the further south auroras can be seen (they appear in a zone called auroral oval). The biggest storm known so far is the so-called Carrington storm in 1859. Then auroras were reported as south as in Caribbean and in Hawaii.
