    Has an eclipse, or "transit" of both the planet venus and mercury ever occured at the same time in front of the sun, that is two at one time?

    That would be neat to see!

    With the Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Earth all going around for a few billion years it is possible. I don't think there is a historical record of one happening, though.
