    Hi again,

This is Spencer and I was wondering what NASA has done for solar energy at their locations. A main part of NASA is to make the world a better place for everyone. Have you implemented solar energy programs on Earth itself? I think it would be a good asset for you because of the eventual cost savings and also the image of "Green-NASA."

    Thanks Much, Spencer

    Hi Spencer,

NASA hasn't been much of a leader of earthbound PV systems in the past as their focus has been to power space vehicles with the sun, but that has all changed. The agency has a huge PV system going in at the Kennedy Space Center now!

Read about the details on Renewable Energy World:

On the other end of the scale is a solar refrigerator project.

    Keep shining!
