I'm not sure, but I think you could be asking about the Gravity Recovery and Interal Laboratory (GRAIL) mission that was launched in September. This mission actually has two spacecraft that will orbit the Moon. The objective of this mission is to study the Moon's gravitational field in order to develop a better understanding of the Moon's internal structure.

Classrooms can request pictures of the lunar surface from the GRAIL MoonKAM cameras at the beginning of 2012 when the mission starts sending back data -

An upcoming lunar mission is the Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer (LADEE) that will be launched in 2013 to study lunar dust from orbit.
