    Hi

I only know that I can not comprehend the vastness of space and of the universe. The part of the universe we can see is extremely large -- about 100 billion light years across, where a light year is 6 trillion miles. I cannot comprehend something this big. And the universe may be infinite..this is just the part we can see with advanced telescopes!

I can not even comprehend the size of our own galaxy, the Milky Way. It is is approximately 100,000 light year across and contains between 200 and 400 MILLION stars.

I just can not comprehend these numbers! And when I go out and look at the night sky away from the city, I am stilled awed by the vastness of space!
